OWIG’s scholarship program provides stipends to college students with financial need who secure unpaid internships in or around government in Ohio. The program is intended to help cover the expenses associated with an internship, making the opportunity more financially feasible for students who would otherwise be unable to pursue it. OWIG scholarships open new doors for students to work in and around government, allowing them to gain exposure to the opportunities public service careers offer.
